INFO

  • We do our best to accommodate families, but Threshold is not an appropriate environment for most small children.

It is our aim to create and maintain a relaxed and pleasant environment for our adult diners, many of whom choose Threshold to celebrate special occasions, anniversaries, and milestone birthdays. We enthusiastically welcome children who are able to sit at the table through a one and a half hour meal and order from the menu without significant modifications. Children must remain seated at the table with their adults at all times, must maintain an appropriate indoor volume at all times, and personal devices with the volume on are not permitted under any circumstances.

Please note that we do not have a changing table or a children's menu and we are unable to accommodate strollers in the dining room.

  • We are unfortunately unable to accommodate those who have allergies to sesame oil or gluten free soy sauce.

Celiac diners will find an abundance of options on our menu. Most items are celiac-safe. Our kitchen has no wheat or gluten-containing flours and both our vegan and non-vegan fryer are gluten-free.

If you are allergic to garlic or other alliums, we can accommodate you with a reservation and 24 hour notice of your dietary restrictions.

For other allergies, please include a note with your reservation and alert your server at the start of your meal.

Our fryer is gluten free and vegan and our kitchen is peanut free, though we do use tree nuts in our cooking.

  • We're so glad you've decided to venture into Korean cuisine with us! A traditional Korean meal is comprised of bap (rice) served with banchan (small accompanying dishes) and a protein, and often served with guk (soup).

You will find this traditional meal format here at Threshold, with dishes intended to be shared and showcasing traditional Korean flavors like sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, gochujang (spicy chili paste), and kimchi (fermented vegetables). Expect big, punchy flavors meant to be combined and eaten with rice.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the menu or want to order a single dish with all the flavors, the bibimbap is for you. A rice bowl featuring an assortment of seasonal vegetables and your choice of protein, bibimbap is a way to have a lot of flavors without needing to make a lot of decisions.

  • Most definitely! You will always find several vegan options in each section of our menu (genuinely vegan, not vegan if we take key ingredients out). Come in for dinner! We can't wait to feed you.

  • You will always be able to come in and get full for under $25 per person. You will also find select alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage options for $12 and under.

If you are a resident of the Catskills or are a visiting hospitality worker and would like to have a more extensive meal with us but it is outside of your budget, please send us an email at dine@thresholdcatskills.com. We will work with you to make sure your meal for two fits within your budget.

  • We are unable to accommodate any animals other than trained service animals in the dining room, in accordance with New York state law. You may be asked what task your service animal is trained to perform, as permitted by the ADA. Animals not adhering to service animal behavior standards (no obstructing walkways, barking, sniffing around other patrons, or accidents) will be asked to leave. Please note that emotional support animals are not covered by the ADA and therefore are not permitted indoors at Threshold.

When outdoor dining is in season (May - October), well-mannered, leashed dogs are welcome on the patio. We do ask that you do not allow your dog to urinate on the patio, clean up after any number 2s, and take all dog waste with you when you depart.

For safety you will be asked to keep your dog under or alongside your table to maintain clear walkways.
